Recently, I've been looking to cleanse my body to
get ready for some upcoming events. While researching for "at home
remedies" I came across the cucumber and its natural benefits. Now, I'm not
one to take medication or skip out on actual food for beauty so, when I read
the benefits from a cucumber I had to share.
I've always wondered why I needed to put a cucumber
slice on my eye during a facial. I just assumed it was to add ambiance but, it
actually serves a purpose. The photochemical in cucumbers makes the collagen in your skin
tighten-therefore, removing the puffiness under the eye.
Another great benefit from cucumbers-you can rub it on a problematic spot of cellulite or wrinkle and it can
lessen the visibility of it!
If you’re like me, about the
middle of each day my energy level is low and I need a boost but, instead of
grabbing a cup of coffee, I now grab my bottle of cucumber water. There are
enough carbohydrates / B vitamins to
give me that boost and a longer-lasting / healthier boost at that! Just slice
1/2 a cucumber and add it to your SmartWater bottle over night. As it
sits over night, the water becomes infused and adds
a fresh twist and flavor to the water.
Lastly, the cucumber facial is super easy and a great way to make
you feel rejuvenated and relaxed. My sister & I love giving each
other at home fascias. I mean, what better to do on
a Tuesday night? However, this one might be the easiest yet. All you
have to do is slice up a cucumber and boil it in a pot of water. The chemicals
inside of the cucumber will mix with the steam. Remove your pot from the heat
and lean over it, letting the steam hit your face. Make sure to cover up with a
towel to keep the steam from seeping off.
