BEFORE & AFTER: Closet

Since our dream home has yet to appear, my husband and I are making due with our current space. However, after a nine month stent of sharing a closet we decided it was time for a change. Cramming both of our things into one small space was not functional nor organized. Therefore, over the weekend we transformed a spare room into a spacious closet for two, all for under $150.00!

See my easy and inexpensive transformation:

When I began my plans for an organized space I immediately thought shelving. Instead of running to a construction company, I headed to Target! Target caries 3 / 5 shelf bookcases that are an inexpensive alternative to custom shelving; perfect to showcase my shoes and handbags.

As a lover of all things Chanel, when StylingMyEveryDay.com shared her tip to creating a custom Chanel vase- I was all over it! This is the perfect feminine touch.

HOW TO: Purchase a square vase (available at Kroger). Download your Chanel logo then print onto white paper and cut into a perfect square. Using double sided tape, adhere the logo to the vase and vuala!

Moving a few of my favorite items from other rooms, I finalized my closet with a sitting area and TV (not pictured). Getting ready is a little easier when you have your favorite show playing in the back ground. :)

PURCHASE LIST:
5 Shelf Bookcase: $32.99 (PURCHASE ME)
3 Shelf Bookcase: $21.99 (PURCHASE ME)
Clothing Rack: $14.88 (PURCHASE ME)
Black Velvet Hangers: $12.99 (PURCHASE ME)
Vase: $13.00 (Available at Kroger)

Do you have a closet design tip or a great closet? If so, I wanna know!
