City Spot: "Kocktails and Kouture"

In Nashville, you are where you eat, not what you eat. And, with a city is filled with a creative selection of eateries a restaurant rarely comes along that embodies elegance and excitement. However, Kocktails and Kouture located in the posh Velocity building at the Gulch has captured a sophisticated audience with an equally sophisticated menu.

The city chic setting immediately sets the mood when you step in the door. While you admire the over-sized crystal chandeliers  your eyes will wander to the vast selection of fashion and accessories. The store hosts a small collection of clothing , all chosen by restaurant owner, Blair Bodden. Whether you're craving a new bag or dress, the boutique style set up will surely capture your attention.

As music pulses throughout the restaurant - the "house" sounds will energize you while your hostess guides you to a plush couch or table for two passing the lavish black marble bar. The restaurants feature, the bar has a Mixologist that will not disappoint. Whether you're opting for a simple cranberry and vodka or a white wine, the selection of drinks will keep you coming back for more. While the classic southern menu combine flavors and spices to entice your taste buds. K&K  will meet even the most picky of standards.

-Menu Favorite-
Opt for the roasted chicken breast. The entre will come served over cheddar grits and seasoned winter vegetables.  Pair the entree with a glass of the house white wine for the perfect touch.  I never mix my food,  but in this case it's a must. Each item perfectly meshes for a flavorful and filling dinner.
With impeccable service, fashion favorites and food to make you swoon, Kocktails and Kouture  won the stamp of approval from the Ecru Elegance team.

Thank you Baley Bodden for the fabulous evening.
