There are very few times when we can break away from everyday life for a "vacation". I know all too well about getting stuck in the daily rut. Punching the clock, running the dog to the vet and heading to the next event...
To save myself from having a complete melt down, I treat myself to a "weekend getaway”. A favorite of mine is a quick trip to Atlanta, GA. You can feel fabulous but come home knowing you didn’t break the bank.
Here’s a few of my must do’s:

The W Hotel, Buckhead. It's all about the location; the hotel sits in a fabulous location within walking distance of great shops, malls and restaurants. The pool on the 4th floor gives you the best view of Atlanta. The one down side... the pool fills up quick. Grab a towel and save your lounge chair by 8:00am. The added bonus of the W, at night the hotel opens its roof top bar. With an apple martini and the ambiance you may think you've traveled to NYC and not ATL.

MAGGIANOS who doesn't love Italian? I'm normally not a fan of chain restaurants however, if you’re for food in the mass this is the place. Located across the street from the W, the chicken parmesan will leave you stuffed. Although, the presentation could use some help the meal itself lacks nowhere.

LENOX MALL like chain restaurants, I'm not a fan of the "strip mall". The Lenox however, is of another stature. Fendi, Prada, Neimans & Ralph grace the mall with everything a girl could ever want. If you’re not into the labels, go for the simplicity of people watching. Everyone from artist, professional athletes and fab fashionista roam the LENOX.

Winnie Couture! OK, if you’re a soon to be bride (like me)...GO! GLAMOROUS, GLAMOROUS, GLAMOROUS! Each gown is a handmade couture gown just for you. I don't know what I love more, the gowns or the shop decor. Anyhow, from start to finish you will feel like a true princess.
