I recently stayed at the St. Regis Hotel for a relaxing weekend with the girls. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff and escorted to our breathtaking suite.
Fresh flowers adorned our dining table while the juliet balcony allowed a soft breeze to blow through our room. At that very moment, I knew I never wanted to leave. However, Monday was vastly approaching- so I needed to soak it up while I could. :)
After the girls and I got settled in- we headed to the pool! We could not have picked a better day, 80 degrees and a slight breeze. It was a nice change from the cold dreary weather we had left at home. The kind pool attendants offered a full food & beverage menu for guests; let me add, the food was mouth watering.
While lounging by the pool, I was notified that a surprise treatment awaited for the girls & I at the spa...a note from my then Fiancé followed. He booked my sister, my mother & I a one hour massages in the hotels spa. CAN YOU SAY EXCITED???!! This might have been the best surprise ever, but little did I know how amazing the experience would be.
As we arrived to the spa, the girls & I were escorted to our lockers for a quick change. Once in our robes and slippers we headed to the waiting courtiers. The room was filled with relaxing fragrances and soft music as fruits, warm tea's, infused water and specialty chocolates waited for us.
Thus, the St. Regis exceeded my expectations, yet again. :)
