As I find myself heading toward the dreaded age of “50” I recall my days of youth. The thought of 50 was decades away but, to my surprise, saying good-bye to the 40’s isn't that bad after all! I’ve learned through the years who I am and how to feel comfortable in my skin. Now, as a wife, mom, and business owner; I know exactly how short the days can be and am continuing to cherish each moment and smile line.
However, I think at any age a woman should try to get up and fix up. I’m not the lady who lay’s in PJ’s all day. I just find myself feeling awful and unproductive. That’s why I say “get up, dress up and show up”! Not only will you look better but, you will feel better too. Coco Chanel said it best; “Every woman should never leave the house without fixing herself up a little, if only out of the politeness to others one never knows you may meet destiny that day.”
