The day my now fiancé proposed, our phones began to ring with the question- “so when’s the big day”. Fresh from our engagement my fiancé and I were a little unprepared to answer. Even though most women have their weddings planned before they meet their groom (sorry to blow your cover ladies) I’m not that extreme and waited. Now settled into engaged life we’ve actually began planning. Exciting…I know! Deciding on an intimate ceremony and reception was easy. Now the fun of "getting it done" has officially begun...
Aside from the gown, the most important part of our wedding is the cake. Clearly, this is coming from a couple with a sweet tooth the size of Texas. Excited to design our wedding cake, there was only one bakery that would do- Julia’s Bakery! We’ve been going to the Murfreesboro bakery (regularly) for the past few years. Of course my figure has turned on me but, my taste buds love me!
Anticipation at a halt... mouths watering... John (fiancé) and I waited at our table to chow down on our options. Let’s just say they were endless! Anything we wanted-or could think of, Julia’s could create!
What we decided is TOP SECRET until the big day but, many thanks are in order. The owners were beyond helpful. We’re so excited for our unique cake option. I highly recommend EVERYONE to at least stop in and try something at Julia’s bakery.
