Every weekend my fiance and I head out for our date night. The oh so quintessential part of any healthy relationship, don't let the date nights die - "says all of our married friends." Therefore, I'm excited to share this weekends dinner experience.
The fun part of our date nights are trying out different restaurants. This weekend we opted for the Melting Pot. Yes, the restaurant has been in Nashville for many years but, I've personally never tried the menu. Pleasantly surprised, we left fully satisfied. Also, being the chocoholic that I am, the chocolate and peanut butter fondue! A-MAZING.
Dinner began with a cheese fondue, bread, vegetables and apples.
Main course included, pre-marinated chicken, filet mignon, shrimp and lobster.
The best part of dinner was the chocolate fondue! The added table spoon of peanut butter was the perfect touch to the chocolate. Now, if your counting calories opt out for the desert. I don't even want to imagine what our calorie count was after dinner ;).
All in all, the Melting Pot was a good date night experience.See my official restaurant review below:
Ambiance - 6/10
Service - 9/10
Food - 10/10
Price - 5/10 (not properly priced for food served)
Cleanliness - 9/10
